Bread Sushi
I haven’t tried it, but it’s a very clever idea. I’m game to try anything with crab in it.

I’ve lambasted the American breakfast tradition before In general ‘We’ eat too much, and what we eat isn’t particularly good for us, that’s not to say that a slice of bacon or an egg yolk is bad for us, it’s about moderation, and portion control - two words that until very recently meant absolutely nothing to me.
I spent a little time reading labels and doing some trial and error cooking I came up with a delicious fulfilling breakfast that’s essentially guilt-free (I also should mention this is not my daily breakfast.. again, say it with me…moderation)

So I’ve decided to sacrifice one of my vintage video cameras to convert it into a totally cool webcam (I’ll also be sacrificing an existing webcam - my goal is to minimally impact the vintage camera (at least that’s the plan)), maybe one of the plastic vintage cameras would be a better choice (the one pictured is solid metal). I’ll keep you posted on my progress / success / failure.

Somedays I look at the window sills in my studio and really miss Plato…
I’m not going to make a habit of posting audio, but I was just watching one of those stupid morning shows, and they credited Natalie Imbruglia with the song ‘Torn’, a song she NEITHER wrote or performed particularly well.
Here is the amazing talented (and seldom heard) Anne Previn performing HER song ‘Torn’ acoustically (originally performed with her band EdnaSwap). Enjoy.

Perfect song for a rainy friday in Philly.

Jump into illustrator go Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts
Select Tools from the pull-down menu.
Scroll down to where “Opacity” starts in the tools options (see picture above) - you may notice that yours don’t have key commands by default (mine in the picture do) — so the question you need to ask yourself is what to change them to that makes sense and that you’ll remember…matching Photoshops numeric keypad shortcuts makes the most sense to me, but do what works for you. On a side-note the keyboard shortcuts dialog box is most interesting - notice it has a export button, but no import or open button, that’s hugely intuitive — anyway to get you started I exported my keyboard shortcuts (see below) with the above mentioned tweaks, although you’re on your own importing them :).
This is always the first thing I change in Illustrator - I know it saves me a ton of time, maybe you’ll find it helpful…
How insane is it that iTunes can’t watch a folder - it’s such a simple concept, when I add an MP3 to folder X, automatically add it to my music library, and add it to the ‘Recently added’ playlist, I’m sure it’s folder actionable, but please, I know I’m not the only iTunes user scratching his head over this glaring omission. I just realized..iTunes syncs with freeking everything BUT my Mac, ipods, iphones, appleTVs, Motorola cellphones, and a host of other things..
I’m sure it’s a business decision, his royal Steveness thinks the only music on my computer is either purchased or ripped via iTunes, and in the library already as a result.
God forbid you like to rip your music differently. after all it WAS Apple that ncouraged me to ‘Think Differently’
