We’re happy to introduce you to piper, our newest little kitty. She’s tiny, but REALLY tall, I’m sure you’ll be seeing more of her - she’s photogenic, and by no means shy..

How do you get to know a person?, I suppose there’s lots of ways, but I have 3 favorite ways -

1. Drink with them: (I seldom drink anymore, but IMHO folks are either 100% honest or 100% dishonest when they’re drinking - you learn things
2. Eat with them: People’s dining choices and their manner while dining can be very telling - plus of course it’s an easy topic for discussion.
3. Listen to their Music: It’s not as personal as eating or drinking with someone - but still a definite personal connection, a persons music tastes speak to their mood, emotions and mindset at a specific point of time.

Must be the weather, but we were visited by a flock of small (and very noisy) birds today (I think they may be starlings) - I didn’t mind the noise, and the cats totally dug it. I’ve never seen them so transfixed.

Last week I stopped into ‘Susie’s Hot Sauce’ in New Hope, spent 20 minutes or so chatting with a lovely and knowledgeable women about hot sauce - I went in looking for three things - a garlicky sauce, a fruity sauce and a smokey sauce - she TOTALLY hooked me up.

From left to right:
Ring Of Fire: Chipotle and Roasted Garlic - absolutely amazing, rich garlic taste with the perfect smokey finish - heatwise: 6 out of 10

Blair’s Habenero Mango: Really delicious sauce with a sweet taste and a pretty serious sweet-heat finish - heatwise: 8 out of 10

Virginia Gentleman Bourbon Chipotle Hot Sauce: This might be my new goto sauce, it’s not too-hot, tons of smokey rich flavor, perfect for everyday use - heatwise: 6 out of 10

All great sauces, I’ll be visiting Susie’s again..
